Hi, I’m Kassidy! I am a wife, daughter, friend, and guardian of two lovely dogs. I currently work to serve the community as a Birth and Postpartum Doula while pursuing my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William & Mary. 

 

I was born and raised in Northern California, moving out to Virginia in October of 2021. Like many people, it was falling in love with a service member that brought me to Norfolk. I arrived to this path through my experience of witnessing friends navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum without support of family nearby - and sometimes without guarantee that their military spouse would be present. Through this experience I recognized the deep need for a well-resourced community that is able to support and center the needs of mothers/birthing people.

 

I am continually amazed by the ways that birth transforms us. Many of my teachers have referred to birth as a rite-of-passage, initiating us into our new roles as parents. It is my goal as a doula to uplift, support, celebrate, and empower each client as they walk through their perinatal journey. I can’t wait to meet you!
