I am a Texas girl in a Virginia Beach world. I moved to VA in 2017 to start my life with my husband. We have since become a party of 4, with our deaf furpup and recently welcoming our first baby boy with a beautiful homebirth. 

I have always loved and worked with babies/children since a very young age. 

At the age of 12, I was technically my mom's doula as I held her hand while she brought my baby brother into the world. I knew from that moment that birth, babies, and becoming a mother was something my heart desired. 

Years later, I was inspired by a family friend that is a doula. There was a constant tug in my spirit to what my heart loves. Once I moved to VA, I started to become even more intrigued about birth work. I took the plunge and attended a workshop for doulas. 

I am now a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula with Doula Alliance. In addition, I am a mentor and administrative assistant for  Doula Alliance.

I help encourage women to find their inner power in every step of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I believe that families need to feel empowered and nurtured as they embark on this new season of parenthood.

My hope as a birth worker is that I can help my clients feel confident and cared for in their birth and postpartum journey.
