Howdy! My name is Sara Horn- I’m a Jesus lover, fantastic wife and mama, native Texan (Gig ‘Em!), horse enthusiast, and the only face on the Blissful Baby Steps team you will never see at a birth! It’s not because I wouldn’t love to be there at what is one of the most influential and (hopefully) beautifully transformative days of your life -

I certainly would! But as someone who has no formal doula training, I am better suited sticking with my real role- administration!

I came to BBS as a client- Maika was my doula! I had my first baby here in Norfolk with my husband and my great friend Maika at my side; what an experience! I fell in love with birth. Although I didn’t know my place in the birth space, I knew I wanted to be a part of it in any way I could. Thankfully, after the birth of my second baby, BBS was growing and I was ready to take on some work. Now here we are! I am so grateful to serve the Hampton Roads area through BBS by handling  the nuts and bolts of  the business. I am excited to meet each and every one of you that choose to consider Blissful Baby Steps as a part of your Journey of Tiny Beginnings- welcome!
