Hey there, my name is Hysonii. I currently live in Virginia Beach with the love of my life Ray, and our little one Arlo. I have spent most of my career in early childhood education. I have also worked with foster care children, as well as troubled youth. My passion for working with children and families comes from me growing up in such a big family. I got to witness my baby sister being born when I was 17. However, it wasn’t until my own childbirth experience that I was inspired to become a birth worker. I am now a DONA International Birth Doula. I am a Reiki Practitioner and a certified Yoga Instructor. When working with birthing people and their families, my goal is to create a safe and genuine space so that your questions can be asked and your emotions can be felt. By the time I leave, my hope is that each member of your family feels empowered and confident in their new role.
